If I attempted to upload the tons of photos we took, first you would wonder about my fixation with water. I am an Aquarius and there is no such thing as a homely waterfall (plus there were many to choose from and I am one of those finicky shoppers who can't ever make up my mind). Also the pristine water is the most amazing turquoise color! But no amount of photos will ever do this magnificent place justice.

We drove the Going-to-the-Sun Road through the park and across the Continental Divide stopping many places along the way just to gawk. We hiked to St Mary Falls in the morning and to Avalanche Lake in the afternoon. All I can say is that it's a good think Donnie guilted me into walking before we left home and I dropped a few pounds, and that I earned my Moose Drool beer.

After a full day in the park we headed south to Missoula to camp where it may be 20 degrees warmer tonight than if we tried to stay up in the park. It gave us another chance to enjoy the company of Cindi and Grant Schooley along with our Moose Drool.

Oh, and for the record, once again, we did NOT get eaten by bears. If Donnie tries to claim the scar on his arm came from a bear attack it was really just a stick. Don't let him fool you or gain sympathy. And so ends our time in Montana. We are looking forward to what awaits us in Washington and will head there tomorrow for several days.

Stats:
